Best Noise-Canceling earbuds for sleeping

1. bose QuietComfort®

ezgif 3 4bb7a90d2a -

I’m gonna mainly focus on the choir comfort earbuds because they’re the flagship after all and bose is known for its noise canceling and they don’t disappoint in that department as far as noise canceling goes these are top-notch you can toggle through three customizable noise-canceling settings including a transparency mode that lets sound in by tapping the left earbud using the touch controls at their top setting these did a better job at muffling sound than the AirPods.

they’re just richer sounding with better detail and more powerful bass that’s also well defined the bose are right up there with the best sounding two wireless earbuds and go toe to toe with the Sennheiser Momentum true wireless 2 which retails for 300 and works well for a variety of music genres but fans of hip hop and EDM will find. they have plenty of kick to their base they’re also good for making calls but maybe not quite as good as the AirPods pro.

still, they’re a big improvement over boza’s earlier soundsport free which only had mono sound in one bud for calls the QuietComfort earbuds effectively reduced ambient sound.

Earbuds are comfortable for your ears and but if you are a side sleeper then you can feel somewhere uncomfortable in your ears

Pros

  • Noise Cancellation
  • Comfortable for ears
  • powerful bass
  • better job at muffling sound than the AirPods.

Cons

  • Not Good For Side Sleeper
  • very Expensive

2. Soundcore by Anker Life A2 NC

ezgif 3 9959062129 -

So in these earbuds here you’re going to get active noise cancellation thumping sound apparently with 11-millimeter drivers six microphones for clearer calls a seven-hour playtime with an additional 35 hours with the case.

itself ipx5 water resistance so again if you’re going to be using them out and about in the rain for example or getting your sweat on when you’re going to the gym you’re not going to have too many problems.

you can charge for 10 minutes to get 1.5 hours worth of listening so that’s good if you do forget to charge them for a commute for example again you’re not going to have any problems there

you’ve also got the sound core app where you can go in and customize all of your EQs and I’m guessing with this one you can also, go in and change some of these settings with regards to the noise cancellation.

it fits pretty well in your ears and if you use it while sleeping these perform well. the active noise cancellation works well.

Pros

  • Noise Cancelation
  • Good Bass
  • Waterproof
  • Good For Sleeping
  • 35 Hours Battery life
  • 10 minutes to get 1.5 hours worth of listening
  • quality is pretty good now they
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  •  11-millimeter drivers

Cons

  • it cannot support wireless charging.
  • No warranty

3. TOZO NC9 Hybrid

ezgif 3 5d35484602 1 -

now the first thing that I want to point out with these because I’m somebody that listens to a lot of different genres of music is the nc9 handled them all with no problem and the noise canceling that they have is a hybrid noise canceling which means they’re using a mic on the outside they’re also using a microphone.

that’s almost near the ear tip on the inside and then they’re relying on the passive noise cancellation that the ear tips are doing on their own and I can tell you between the three it’s doing a pretty decent job other features are they have Bluetooth 5.0.

although I would have liked to have seen them have aptx playback they do have aac and sbc now one thing I did notice by looking at the box and checking out the website is there’s no mention of any IP rating so I would not submerge these into the water but I had no issue when it came to light splashes or having a little bit of sweat hit him but still without an official IP rating.

it’s going to be something you need to be a little careful with now as far as what you’re getting inside the box I was surprised that these came with six sets of ear tips so if you’re somebody that has a little bit of an issue finding the right fit I don’t think you’ll have that problem.

when it comes to these and as far as the charging cable they’ve included a USB-C cable speaking of the charging cable battery life is also very decent on these the battery life on the earbuds themselves is around eight hours whereas with the charging case you’re going to get around 24 hours.

Pros

  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • Very comfortable for small ears
  • 1-year warranty
  • noise cancellation
  • 8 hours whereas with the charging case you’re going to get around 24 hours.
  • Good For Sleeping

Cons

  • No good for a side sleeper.

4. Bose Sleepbuds™ II

ezgif 3 b79e7f5e39 -

now I want to be clear the bose sleep buds 2 are not headphones you can’t listen to music on them you can’t listen to podcasts on them and you can’t take phone calls with them instead, you load sounds from bose’s library onto them and that’s it and yes I said load does not stream the Bluetooth here is no good for streaming audio.

it’s pretty damn slow for transferring even the small file sizes we’re talking about here the sleep buds are very much a single-use gadget which means that everything rides on how well it does that one thing they need to be small enough and comfortable enough to wear all night.

they need to block enough noise to keep the non-stop traffic outside at bay or to at least muffle an obnoxious snorer next to you but it also needs to let enough in that a smoke alarm will rouse you and the soundscapes also need to be pleasing with no obvious seams and cover a wide range of styles to please a bunch of different tastes.

and last they need to be easy to use because the last thing anybody wants to do as they’re getting ready for some shut-eye is a struggle with a buggy or complicated app so let’s go through these things, one by one.

with some caveats the soft-touch plastic and anti-friction coating are great uh they’re some of the best feeling earbuds I’ve ever worn wireless. so for short periods in a controlled environment, the sleep buds to are very comfortable but in actual use, it’s a bit of a mixed bag.

Pros

  • Good For a side sleeper
  • block enough noise to keep the non-stop traffic outside
  • very comfortable
  • Made for spelling

Cons

  • Very Expensive

5. Amazfit Zenbuds Smart Sleep Earbuds

ezgif 3 797a3a09bb 1 -

first of all the earphones are very compact and lightweight so we can barely feel them in your ears there are plenty of ear tips to choose from I choose the smallest size and they fit in your ears perfectly.

the ear tips are very nice and soft and they feel nice in my ears even after hours of using the earphones the zenbots are designed to block out unwanted sounds to help you fall asleep faster.

according to amazfit the umbrella structure of the earbuds fits perfectly across your air ridge effectively lowering the noise level from external surroundings as well as soothing you to a better sleep state.

the earphones come in this nice charging case that can be opened by rotating it and it can be recharged using the supplied usb type-c cable the case can provide the airbus with an extra continuous playing time of about 56 hours a fully charged pair of amazing with zenbots can last for 12 hours when using playback duration mode.

if you switch to the unlimited duration you will get a full 8 hours of sleep-inducing sounds. the zenbots track your sleep quality in the amazefit app you can see the deep and light sleep time and awake time which leads to a certain sleep scar you can also see your average heart rate the variety of built-in sensors also show your sleeping position and the number of turns to be honest with you.

I didn’t even know before I started using the zenbots that I mostly sleep on my right side on the other hand sometimes I sleep most in the supine position one of my favorite features air plug alarm which means that the alarm won’t wake anyone up who’s around you also you can snooze the alarm for 10 minutes by simply tapping one of the earbuds this is a cool feature.

Pros

  • 8 hours of sleep-inducing sounds.
  • noise cancellation
  • nice charging case
  • very compact and lightweight
  • very good also for side sleeper

Cons

  • so much small light weighted easily can be lost.

6. MUSICOZY Sleep

ezgif 3 1c9977dadf -

These music cozy Bluetooth sleep mask headphones not only does it block out light but also allow you to listen to music without putting in any additional headphones or earbuds so it helps you fall asleep faster.

it also includes this portable carrying pouch so that you can take it on vacation with you or you can store it and it also comes with this USB charger and it comes with this little manual.

7. Beats Fit Pro

image 2 -

the beats fit pro earbuds have a new ear tip design where the flexible stem fits inside your ear versus the over-ear design of the original powerboats pro released in 2019 but what I love the most about this approach is that it helps to keep the earbuds securely in your ear when you’re working out or moving around.

these headphones are also ipx4 sweat and water resistant so you can be pretty confident that they will be durable and reliable when you’re working out or caught in the rain in the box apple also includes this more compact case that makes it a bit more portable than the powerboats pro which for me always felt a little bit too awkward to put in my pocket.

these on the other hand solid the case also has a USB-C port which gives the beats fit pro up to 24 hours of battery life and also allows for fast fuel charging which lets you get up to around an hour of playback in five minutes.

when the battery is low now the beats fit pro has a physical onboard multi-function button on each earbud which allows you to control your music answer your calls and also activate your phone’s voice assistant which seems pretty useful but there are a few minor things that I noticed that.

I didn’t really like this design for example whenever I wear a beanie over my ears I would either pause my music or end the call even though I didn’t want to and it also just isn’t that convenient that you can’t adjust the volume as you either have to change it with your physical phone or sacrifice the option to activate transparency mode with the multifunction button.

it would just be nice to have a few physical up and down buttons similar to the powerboats pro to control the volume now.

Pros

  • Good Battery life
  • Good noise cancellation
  • ipx4 sweat and water resistant

Cons

  • Not very good for side sleeper

8. Cambridge Audio Melomania

ezgif 3 d336a03a53 -

Pros

  • easily fit in ears
  • Good noise cancellation
  • good for side sleeper

Cons

Not preninum quality
